What Kind Of Church Is Hunger Mountain?

 
We are a Christ-centered church:
 
We believe in the Diety and Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are an independent Christian Church but maintain a strong fellowship with many other churches in the area and throughout Vermont and New England.
 
We are a Holy Spirit led church:
 
We believe that the Holy Spirit is to lead and guide us just as He has done since the beginning. We believe in a Triune God of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will provide us with the enabling, gifting, and power to do this when we allow Him to do so. 
 
We are a caring church:
 
We are committed to walk together in Christian love, to care for each other and to reach out to the community around us. We are a safe haven for those who seek a refuge from the hurts and cares of life and for those who need healing.
 
We are a Word-oriented church:
 
The Bible? We believe it! All of it! And we are committed to preach it and live it by the power of the Holy Spirit.
 
We are a worshipping church:
 
The Bible says "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" Here at Hunger Mt. we praise Him with many different kinds of music, from classical hymns to contemporary gospel. Sometimes we worship Him quietly, sometimes exuberantly, but always our desire is to be a sweet sound in His ear and to worship Him "in spirit and truth."
 
We are a family-based church:
 
We seek to provide a place where people of all ages can learn more about God and where families can grow together in Christian faith.
 
We are a praying church:
 
Jesus said "My house shall be called a house of prayer" and in the book of James it says, "The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reconed with." We believe in the importance of prayer in our lives both individually and together as a church.
 
We are a church that is committed to spreading the "Good News:"
 
That Christ died for us, our sins are forgiven by His shed blood, and that He rose again and is alive! And that through Him, we can know God in a personal relationship and spend eternity with Him.
