Hunger Mountain Christian Assembly
Membership
To be a member in good standing with this assembly and to have the privilege of having a voice in the affairs of this church or to hold a position of leadership, a person must:
Have experienced the new birth through a personal faith in Jesus Christ;
Have been baptized by immersion in water;
Subscribe to the Statement of Faith of this church;
Have attained the age of eighteen years;
Attend instructional sessions concerning the responsibilities of membership (Elders may waive instructional sessions);
Attend Sunday morning worship and other church functions on a regular basis;
Give cheerful, willing, financial support to this body on a regular weekly basis through tithes and offerings; and
Submit to the oversight of the Pastor and Elders according to Sacred Scripture.
Newcomers must have a waiting period of six months of faithful attendance before applying for membership.
